Assistant Branch Manager - RACQ Auto Eight-Mile Plains

We're looking for an experienced Assistant Branch Manager to support the day-to-day operations of one of our RACQ Auto branches. Working closely with the Branch Manager, you'll play a key role in leading the team, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and ensuring the branch operates safely, efficiently, and profitably.

About the role  
As the Assistant Branch Manager, you'll provide operational and leadership support across the branch and step in to provide coverage when the Branch Manager is unavailable. You'll help drive team performance while ensuring our customers receive the highest standard of service.  

Key responsibilities include: 

• Support the day-to-day management of branch operations to ensure efficient and effective service delivery. 
• Prepare quotations and liaise with customers and members regarding required work, providing timely and accurate information. 
• Assist with inventory management, stock control and ordering processes to maintain operational readiness. 
• Build strong customer relationships and resolve enquiries and concerns in a professional manner. 
• Supervise, coach and support team members to achieve service, safety and operational standards. 
• Assist with workforce planning, rostering and resource allocation to meet operational requirements. 
• Support team training, development and performance improvement initiatives. 
• Monitor compliance with company policies, quality standards and workplace health and safety requirements. 
• Contribute to the achievement of branch financial and operational targets through effective resource and performance management.

About You 
You're a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced automotive environment and enjoys helping teams succeed. 

To be successful, you'll bring: 

• Experience within the automotive service and repair industry. 
• Previous experience leading, coaching or supervising teams. 
• Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. 
• The ability to work independently and make sound operational decisions.

What You'll Need 

• Background in Automotive Service and Repair  
• Current Australian Driver Licence. 
• Relevant industry experience in a similar environment.
