About the role
At Scope We Celebrate People!
Scope operates seven Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes across the Hunter Region and is currently recruiting for casual Support Workers at our three Bonnells Bay and Morisset homes.
These homes provide support to male and female clients with complex mental health needs, psychosocial and intellectual disabilities, and, in some cases, a history of involvement with the criminal justice system. The people we support may present with complex behaviours and require consistent, trauma-informed, strengths-based, personal care, and person-centred approaches to achieve their goals and maintain their independence.
Successful candidates will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, emotional resilience, professional boundaries, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated support team.

We are aware there are quite a few compliance checks (listed below) for this role however, what’s important to us is that you a P2 NSW Drivers License or higher and flexible availability across a 24/7 roster - this includes 7-3pm, 3-11pm, and 11-7am.
