We're looking for a motivated and customer-focused Account Manager to join our Industrial & Safety sales team in Perth. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven sales professional who thrives on building strong customer partnerships, identifying growth opportunities, and delivering exceptional service.

Your Opportunity

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing an established customer portfolio while identifying opportunities to increase sales and margin performance. You will work closely with customers, internal stakeholders, and suppliers to deliver solutions that help customers succeed and strengthen long-term business relationships.

What You'll Be Doing Day-to-Day:

• Visiting customer sites across your territory and building strong working relationships
• Managing a portfolio of existing accounts, ensuring customers receive exceptional service and support
• Identifying opportunities to increase product penetration and grow account revenue
• Conducting regular sales calls and account reviews with customers
• Preparing quotes, negotiating pricing, and following up on sales opportunities
• Maintaining an active sales pipeline and updating CRM records
• Working closely with branch teams, customer service, and suppliers to deliver solutions for customers
• Resolving customer queries and coordinating prompt resolutions
• Monitoring market activity, competitor movements, and emerging customer needs
• Attending team meetings, training sessions, and customer presentations as required

What You'll Bring:

• We're looking for someone who is passionate about building customer relationships and achieving results
• Previous experience in Account Management, External Sales, Business Development, or a similar customer-facing sales role
• A proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of achieving sales and margin targets
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• A proactive and self-motivated approach with the ability to work autonomously
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications
• A customer-first mindset and a commitment to delivering outstanding service
• The ability to identify opportunities, solve problems, and drive business growth
• Experience within industrial, safety, manufacturing, mining, construction, trade, or related industries will be highly regarded
