About the role
Castech Solutions is a global supplier of custom-manufactured engineering components using a range of processes including casting, fabrication, machining, forging, pressing, and assembly. With offices in O'Connor, WA and China, we service customers across Australia and international markets.
Our manufacturing is based in China and other low-cost countries, supplying OEMs and end-users across the Mining, Mineral Processing, Rail, and Agriculture sectors.
About the RoleWe're looking for a proactive Project Engineer to manage the end-to-end delivery of engineering product solutions to our customers. You'll be the key contact for your assigned clients, working closely with our experienced team in China and approved manufacturing partners to deliver high-quality, custom-engineered products.

Key ResponsibilitiesManage customer RFQs and submit quotations through our ERP system.
Source and evaluate sub-contractor quotations.
Monitor and expedite production to meet delivery schedules.
Interpret product inspection reports and ensure quality compliance.
Provide timely updates to clients including project status, MDRs, and documentation.
Coordinate with our China office and global suppliers.
Ensure accurate project closure aligned with Castech's Quality System.
We're looking for a motivated individual with strong communication and technical skills, who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Candidates with any work authorisation status will be considered for this position.
Essential Criteria:
Engineering or Business qualification (mandatory)
Minimum 3 years' experience in manufacturing, engineering, or supply chain
Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
Strong computer skills – Microsoft Office, MRP/ERP systems
Comprehensive training on MRP/ERP systems will be provided to successful candidates
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and standards
High attention to detail, proactive work ethic, and team-oriented approach
Highly Regarded (but not essential):
Foundry or casting knowledge
Materials science background
