About the Role
This is a part-time permanent opportunity (17.5 hours per week) based at Uniting’s Youth Services Hub on Alfred Street, Dubbo. The role will work across primary and secondary schools in Dubbo, delivering the Youth First early intervention group program.
The Group Worker supports children and young people by facilitating small group programs within school settings that promote emotional regulation, healthy relationships, self-care, and positive behaviour change. Programs are delivered in safe, inclusive spaces that strengthen belonging, wellbeing, and protective factors, helping young people remain safe, connected, and engaged in school and community.
Youth First workers facilitate small groups per school term, focusing on building emotional awareness and supporting young people to navigate relationships with peers.
