Business & Tax Advisor (Senior Accountant, Manager & Senior Manager)

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare clear, concise and accurate work papers, that serve as evidence of work performed and the foundation for decision making;
• Apply your knowledge of the clients business environment and industry positioning to deliver tailored advice;
• Act as a mentor/buddy to graduates, sharing your knowledge and helping them with their work, to shape the next generation of accountants;
• Prepare financial statements that comply with all current, legal and accounting reporting standards;
• Prepare documentation for Partners for client meetings and presentation;
• Research, identify and resolve all complex accounting issues;
• Prepare and analyse management accounting reports;
• Conduct detailed reviews of tax and FBT returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance; and
• (Manager & Senior Manager) Lead and manage a portfolio of client engagements, overseeing workflow allocation, reviewing team output, and acting as the primary point of contact to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.

Essential

• Business / Commerce degree with Accounting Major

Desirable

• Completion of CA or equivalent

Demonstrated Experience & Attributes

• 2 - 15 years in a similar role
• Strong communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Committed to continuing professional development
