Material Technology (Wood) Teacher - Commencing at the start of 2027 school year
Catholic Regional College North Keilor is a Catholic co-educational secondary college for students in Years 7–10.
We are seeking applications from suitably qualified, enthusiastic and passionate educators for the position of Materials Technology (Wood) Teacher, commencing at the beginning of the 2027 school year.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative and supportive learning community committed to fostering excellence in teaching and learning while inspiring students to achieve their full potential.
This position may be offered on a part-time basis (0.80 FTE) or full-time.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop a stimulating learning environment using a variety of teaching styles and approaches to cater for individual learning needs.
Understand and adhere to state and national curriculum requirements, including the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
Employ effective teaching strategies to deliver the curriculum and maximise student learning outcomes.
Give appropriate time and attention to lesson planning, preparation, and organisation.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance and learning progress.
Embrace the use of information and communication technologies to enhance teaching and learning.
Engage in learning progress discussions with students, parents, and colleagues as required.
Prepare formal academic reports in accordance with College reporting guidelines.
Monitor student progress and provide meaningful, timely, and regular feedback to support learning and growth.
Maintain a safe and engaging workshop environment in accordance with relevant safety requirements.

Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration.
