The Venn Financial Group is a fast-growing, client-focused, innovative financial services firm working with individuals, families and small to medium businesses across various industries all over Australia. Due to expansion, we are seeking a Bookkeeping professional in our Toowoomba Office.
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in a permanent part-time capacity. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working both from our Toowoomba office and from home, allowing you to maintain work-life balance while being part of a supportive and professional team.

About the Role
You will work with a diverse portfolio of business clients across a range of industries, providing high-quality bookkeeping and payroll services while supporting our accountants and advisors.
Key Responsibilities
Bank and credit card reconciliations
Accounts payable and accounts receivable management
Payroll processing and Single Touch Payroll compliance
Preparation and lodgement support for BAS and IAS
GST coding and reconciliation
Management of debtor and creditor accounts
Preparation of management reports
Maintaining and improving client bookkeeping systems
Liaising directly with clients regarding bookkeeping and payroll matters
Supporting accountants with month-end and year-end procedures
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Minimum 3 years' bookkeeping experience
Experience within a public accounting firm preferred
Strong working knowledge of Xero, MYOB and Quickbooks
Experience with Hubdoc, Dext or similar bookkeeping software highly regarded
Payroll processing experience
Sound understanding of GST, BAS and bookkeeping principles
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
