About the role

We’re looking for a hands-on Hotel Manager, a practical all-rounder role — not just sitting in the office and telling others what to do.

You’ll be dealing with guests, keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly, solving problems, coordinating staff and contractors, and helping with basic maintenance issues when needed.

The hotel is located in The Entrance 2261, a coastal area around an hour from North Sydney.

Key responsibilities

• Deal with guests, suppliers, contractors and external authorities

• Keep day-to-day hotel operations running smoothly

• Solve problems and deal with issues as they come up

• Coordinate staff and contractors

• Help with basic maintenance and troubleshooting

About you

• Strong English communication skills and confidence dealing with people from all walks of life

• Some management experience or strong management skills

• Practical, hands-on and willing to get involved

• Able to solve problems and make sound decisions

• Confident, resilient and adaptable

• Basic maintenance, handyman or troubleshooting skills are highly regarded

• Interested in building a long-term career and becoming part of the local community

• Open to relocating to the area for the right opportunity
