Litigation Lawyer

About the role

You will, with support from the Partners, have carriage of a range of matters, including General Commercial Litigation, Insolvency & Restructuring, Employment Law, and Minor Crime, predominantly Road Safety.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in progressing the firm's existing litigation matters to conclusion

• Deal with new enquiries, and run matters from commencement to settlement

• Provide sound verbal and written advice on a variety of litigious matters

• Prepare all requisite correspondence and documents, and effectively brief Counsel (if required)

About you

• Current Practising Certificate

• Minimum of 2 years' PAE in a similar role, with experience in the Supreme, Federal, County, and Magistrates' Courts

• Exceptional attention to detail, and excellent time management skills

• Strong written and oral communication, negotiation and advocacy skills

• Ability to work independently, and as part of a team

• Energy and ambition, a strong work ethic, and ability to work well under pressure

• Experience using LEAP Legal Software is desirable
