About This Role
Your new role:
Role
As a Senior Psychologist, you will provide expert, evidence-based psychological care while contributing to the continued development of contemporary services across Bayside Health Service. The role offers variety, clinical autonomy and opportunities to support the growth of colleagues and services. You will:
Deliver senior psychology services across adult medical wards, ICU, kidney dialysis and specialist medical outpatients, including geriatrics, cardiology, gastroenterology and respiratory services.Undertake complex assessment, formulation, diagnosis, intervention and evaluation, including individual and innovative group interventions, while managing referrals and clinical triage.Contribute to service development, quality improvement, research and clinical education, helping advance the quality and effectiveness of psychology services.Provide clinical advice, supervision and training to less experienced psychologists, students and Allied Health Assistants while working closely with multidisciplinary teams.
About You
You are an experienced psychologist who brings strong clinical capability, sound professional judgement and a genuine commitment to collaborative, patient-centred care. You will thrive in a complex clinical environment and be motivated to contribute to both clinical excellence and service improvement. You have:
Demonstrated high-level knowledge, expertise and skill delivering psychology services within complex health settings.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across psychology and multidisciplinary teams and provide high-level clinical advice.Proven ability to manage complex clinical workloads, including rapid prioritisation, patient management and discharge planning.Demonstrated leadership capability through supervision, training and support of less experienced practitioners and students, together with an ability to initiate and evaluate service improvement initiatives.

About The Redland Psychology Department
The Redland Psychology Department is based at Redland Hospital and delivers clinical services across all Redlands facilities including Redland Bay Satellite Centre. Redlands Psychology is an expanding and innovative specialist service within the hospital and community service centres with a diverse skill mix of Psychologists including paediatric diabetes; acute medical and complex inpatients; neuropsychology, kidney dialysis, physiotherapy outpatients, specialist medical clinics.
