Plumber/Gas Fitter - 7/7 - Bowen Basin

About the Role

LMP Project Services is seeking trade‑qualified Plumber/Gas Fitters to join our team at a Bowen Basin mine site. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high‑quality plumbing maintenance, repairs, and installations across mine site facilities, ensuring all work is performed safely, efficiently, and to industry standards.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Performing plumbing maintenance, installations across site facilities, and infrastructure

• Inspecting, fault-finding, and repairing plumbing systems including water, drainage, and waste systems

• Completing routine checks, preventative maintenance, and ensuring compliance with site requirements

• Working collaboratively with supervisors, contractors, and site personnel to achieve daily work targets

• Maintaining accurate records and adhering to mine site procedures

• Actively participating in toolbox talks, safety meetings, and risk assessments

• Be able to assist other trades and mine site operations when required

What We’re Looking For

• Trade-qualified Plumber/Gas Fitter who MUST hold a current QBCC/Plumbing & Draining Licence, Commission and Maintain Backflow Prevention Devices & Gas Licence

• Experience in commercial, industrial, or mining environments (preferred)

• Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)

• Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Willingness to undergo drug & alcohol screening in line with mine site requirements
