Residential Construction Site Supervisor

Nexta Homes is seeking an experienced Residential Construction Site Supervisor to manage and coordinate residential construction projects across Adelaide.

Key requirements:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in residential construction supervision in Australia

• Strong knowledge of residential construction processes

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings

• Excellent trade coordination and communication skills

• Current valid Driver’s Licence.

• Strong commitment to quality, safety and project timelines

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage residential construction sites from site commencement through to practical completion.

• Coordinate and manage trades, subcontractors, suppliers and site deliveries to ensure construction progresses according to the project schedule.

• Ensure all works are completed in accordance with approved plans, specifications, building codes, Australian Standards and company requirements.

• Monitor quality of workmanship, identify defects and coordinate timely rectification.

• Conduct regular site inspections and maintain site safety, cleanliness and WHS compliance.

• Coordinate required council, private certifier and consultant inspections throughout the construction process.

• Monitor construction progress, identify potential delays and implement solutions to keep projects on schedule.

• Read and interpret architectural, structural and engineering drawings, specifications and construction details.

• Maintain accurate site records, progress reports, checklists and construction documentation.

• Communicate effectively with project managers, trades, consultants and suppliers.

• Manage variations, site issues and construction queries in consultation with the Project Manager.

• Coordinate defects, final inspections and handover to ensure projects are completed to a high standard.
