Latrobe Regional Health is looking for Site & Operations Manager - Community Mental Health Wonthaggi to join our growing team on a full time (1.0EFT) ongoing basis.

The Site and Operations Manager - Community Mental Health is responsible for the operational leadership and management of community mental health services within an allocated geographic area. Working collaboratively with clinical and operational leaders, the role ensures the delivery of high‑quality, contemporary and consumer‑centred mental health care across Infant, Child and Youth, Adult and Older Adult, Consultation Liaison and Mental Health and Psychiatric Rehabilitation programs.

This senior leadership position provides strategic and operational oversight of multidisciplinary teams, supporting service excellence, workforce capability, quality improvement and the delivery of recovery‑oriented mental health care throughout the consumer journey.

The role of the Site & Operations Manager - Community Mental Health Wonthaggi is to:

• Lead and manage the day‑to‑day operations of community mental health services, ensuring safe, effective and consumer‑centred care delivery across multiple programs and disciplines.
• Provide leadership and support to multidisciplinary teams, fostering workforce capability, professional development and a positive workplace culture.
• Manage operational performance including budgets, workforce planning, recruitment, rostering, KPIs and service targets to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen partnerships, support integrated models of care and improve consumer outcomes.
• Lead quality improvement, governance, compliance and risk management activities, ensuring adherence to the Mental Health and Wellbeing Act 2022, NSQHS Standards and professional requirements.
• Support service innovation, change management and implementation of evidence‑based practices to enhance mental health service delivery across the region.

About you

Ideal candidates for this role will have:

• Relevant qualifications and professional registration in Nursing, Social Work, Psychology or Occupational Therapy, with eligibility to practise in Victoria.
• Proven experience in senior leadership and management roles within mental health services.
• Strong knowledge of contemporary mental health practice, the Victorian Mental Health and Wellbeing Act 2022, National Standards for Mental Health Services and NSQHS Standards.
• Demonstrated experience managing budgets, workforce performance, service development, quality improvement and organisational change.
• Highly developed analytical, decision‑making, stakeholder engagement and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to work effectively across complex service environments.
