Casual position with the possibility of permanent Full-Time or Part Time employment.

As an experienced and passionate produce staff member, you will play a crucial role in our mission to provide customers with a pleasurable shopping experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Exceptional merchandising skills and/or willingness to learn 

• Exceptional fresh fruit & vegetable knowledge 

• Quality control, including stock rotation and waste management 

• Adhering to strict quality control measures and food safety standards

• Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the produce department and surrounding areas

• Collaborating and working with the rest of the team to ensure efficient operation

• Assisting customers in selecting premium products, providing product knowledge and excellent customer service

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a produce retail in a grocery setting.

• Deep knowledge of produce, including seasonal product supplies.

• Passionate about your role and can hit the ground running.

• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to work autonomously as well as work harmoniously with other team members and take initiative as needed.

• Strong communication skills: Ability to build rapport with both customers and team members.

We are looking for a casual employee with the opportunity of Full-Time or Part-Time employment.

This includes some early morning shifts (starting around 7 am) and must be available for weekend shifts.

Team member will need to be available to work a variety of shifts.
