General Practitioner (Aged Care)

Looking for a GP position where you will earn between $3000 to $3500 per day?

We are currently partnering with a large aged care facility in Avalon Beach that is seeking a General Practitioner to join the team and manage 30 of their residents.

The role involves visiting the nursing home, conducting regular rounds, and consulting with their elderly residents. Key responsibilities include managing chronic conditions, performing medication reviews, providing dementia care, and coordinating with facility staff and families, with the support of established administrative systems.

This is an excellent opportunity for a GP looking to make a genuine impact in the Northern Suburbs community.

About the role:

Location: Avalon Beach, NSW

Billing: 90% of billings + 100% of aged care incentives + 6.25% Medicare Bulk Billing Incentive

Expected earnings: $3000 - $3500 per day

Patient load: 30 patients

Availability: 1–2 days per week

Facility: 100-bed aged care facility (30 ready to go)

Doctors: 1 other GP on site

Position: Ongoing permanent role

Parking: On-site parking available

Requirements:

• FRACGP, MRCGP, or ACRRM (or equivalent)

• Ability to adapt to new software and systems

• Previous aged care experience preferred

• Able to commit minimum 1 day per week on a consistent weekly basis
