ICT Support Engineer

Location: PORT OF BRISBANE, QLD

Job Type: Permanent position | Full time position

• Support clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Assist individuals with mobility and physical transfers, including the use of mobility aids, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals in line with dietary needs and preferences, and support with feeding where necessary.
• Provide emotional support and companionship, fostering meaningful connections to combat isolation and build trust.
• Facilitate and encourage participation in social outings and community activities, aligned with clients’ interests and goals.
• Assist with household tasks such as vacuuming, laundry, dusting, mopping, and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
• Support clients in shopping, medication reminders, and attending medical or personal appointments.

Help develop and maintain daily routines and promote independence wherever possible.

• Support participants with NDIS plans, implementing scheduled activities and reporting on progress and changes in condition.
• Participate in care planning meetings, work collaboratively with allied health professionals, and communicate effectively with clients’ families or guardians.
• Promote and protect the dignity, privacy, and confidentiality of all clients always.

Be adaptable to different environments, including live-in arrangements if required.

• Maintain accurate documentation and reports related to care activities and incident management.

Offer: Full-Time (38 Hours Per Week) with Salary $75,000–$85,000 + Superannuation Skills & Qualifications Required:

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role within disability or aged care support.
• Possess an AQF Certificate II or III in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability, or a relevant field.
