NPY Women's Council (NPYWC) is an Anangu-led organisation governed by women's law, authority and culture. We deliver health, social and cultural services across the Ngaanyatjarra, Pitjantjatjara and Yankunytjatjara (NPY) region and are committed to strengthening communities through culturally responsive, trauma-informed practice.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Learning & Development Coordinator to lead and coordinate learning and workforce capability initiatives across our organisation.
This is an exciting opportunity to influence organisational capability by leading learning initiatives that support employee development, organisational performance and a culture of continuous improvement.
About the Role
Reporting to the HR Manager, you will coordinate organisation-wide learning and development initiatives that strengthen employee capability, support compliance, and promote professional growth across NPY Women's Council.
Working closely with managers and teams across the organisation, you will ensure learning solutions align with organisational priorities while maintaining high-quality learning systems, reporting and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and implement learning and development initiatives across the organisation.
Manage organisational induction and onboarding programs.
Develop and maintain training matrices and learning plans.
Coordinate student placements and liaise with educational institutions.
Monitor mandatory training compliance and provide learning and development reporting.
Support workforce capability planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain learning records and training administration.
Contribute to the design and implementation of training resources and learning materials.
Build strong relationships with managers and employees to identify workforce development needs.
Support the mentoring and development of Anangu employees.
About You
You are passionate about developing people and creating learning experiences that build capability and improve organisational performance. You are a collaborative professional with excellent organisational skills who enjoys partnering with leaders to deliver meaningful workforce development outcomes.
You will bring:
Experience coordinating learning and development programs.
Experience supporting onboarding, induction and mandatory training.
Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
Excellent organisational, communication and time management skills.
Experience maintaining learning records, reporting and compliance.
A relevant qualification in Human Resources, Learning & Development, Organisational Development, Education, Training or a related discipline.
An understanding of, or willingness to learn about, working within remote Aboriginal communities and a culturally responsive organisation.
