Hartelec is a growing electrical and air-conditioning business working across Melbourne’s South East, Bayside and Mornington Peninsula.

We’re currently looking for a Qualified A-Grade Electrician and potentially up to two Electrical Apprentices for the right candidates to join our growing team.

• Qualified A-Grade Electrician – $50 per hour starting rate + work vehicle, with room to grow

• Electrical Apprentices – Award rates based on year level

We have a strong pipeline of work across high-end residential, general residential and commercial electrical projects, ranging from smaller service and upgrade work through to complete electrical packages on larger builds.

Our work includes high-end new homes and renovations, standard residential projects, townhouses and multi-unit developments, childcare centres and larger commercial projects, along with switchboard and mains upgrades, group metering, lighting and power, data, security, air conditioning and electrical infrastructure.

Qualified Electrician – From $50/hr + Work Vehicle

We’re looking for a qualified electrician who can work independently, take pride in their work and represent Hartelec professionally on site.

The position starts at a base rate of $50 per hour, with the opportunity for the rate to increase based on performance, experience, capability and the level of responsibility you take on within the business.

What we’re looking for:

• Victorian A-Grade Electrical Licence

• Current driver’s licence

• Strong electrical knowledge and fault-finding ability

• Able to work independently and as part of a team

• Comfortable working with and helping develop apprentices

• Good communication with clients, builders and other trades

• Reliable, organised and punctual

• Takes pride in quality workmanship and keeping sites tidy

• Experience across residential and commercial electrical work preferred

• Air-conditioning experience is a bonus but not essential

Electrical Apprentices – Up to Two Positions

We’re looking for electrical apprentices who genuinely want to learn the trade and develop into quality electricians.

For the right people, we are open to taking on up to two apprentices.

Whether you’re an existing apprentice looking for a change or at the beginning of your electrical career, we’re interested in hearing from people with the right attitude and work ethic.
