LG Site Supervisor

About the Role

Allied Express is seeking a motivated and experienced LG Off-site Supervisor to join our Operations team at the DHL-LG Depot in Archerfield, QLD. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading the team across LG Off-site Operations, ensuring freight is managed efficiently and safely throughout the shift while meeting key cut-off times, service standards, and performance targets.

In this role, you will oversee outbound freight operations, driver performance, route coordination, site standards, freight scanning, and compliance requirements. You will play a key role in promoting a ‘Safe Home Every Day’ culture while ensuring operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and the highest standards of service are maintained.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading people, working in a fast-paced operational environment, and taking ownership of day-to-day transport and logistics activities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead and coordinate LG Off-site Operations to meet daily service, safety, and performance targets

• Plan and monitor daily runs, driver allocations, routes, and delivery timeframes

• Oversee freight sorting, scanning, dispatch, and transfer processes in line with LG requirements

• Monitor driver performance, compliance, inductions, PPE, and safe work practices

• Ensure accurate PODs, delivery photos, reporting, and completion of outstanding IODs

• Liaise with LG, drivers, Operations, and other stakeholders to resolve operational issues promptly

• Monitor and report freight shortages, damages, incidents, hazards, and other exceptions

• Maintain a safe, clean, secure, and organised worksite

• Ensure WHS, company, DHL/LG policies, and operational procedures are followed

• Promote a ‘Safe Home Every Day’ culture and contribute to continuous improvement

About You

We are looking for a proactive, resilient, and operationally focused leader who can manage competing priorities, lead a team effectively, and delivery strong service and operational outcomes.

• You must have proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within transport, logistics, warehousing, or similar operational environment

• You have strong people management and contractor management skills, with the ability to lead, motivate, and recognise high-performing team members

• You have a strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements and a commitment to maintaining a ‘Safe Home Every Day’ culture

• You have strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple operational priorities while meeting deadlines and service targets

• You demonstrate initiative and actively contribute to continuous improvement

• You have a strong focus on achieving business targets, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction

• You are reliable, accountable, and able to take ownership of operational outcomes
