Cafe Manager

About the role

As Café Manager, you'll be responsible for leading, motivating and managing the FOH team, running busy daily service efficiently, staff rostering, training and performance management, maintaining a high standard of customer service, ensuring the café is clean, organised and presentation-ready, handling customer feedback professionally, working closely with the owners to improve systems, service and profitability, and jumping on the floor, POS or coffee when required.

About you

• Previous café management or strong assistant management experience

• Excellent leadership and communication skills

• Fluent English is essential

• Confident and fast using POS systems — Square experience is a big advantage

• Strong understanding of busy café operations

• Barista/coffee knowledge highly regarded

• Excellent organisation and problem-solving skills

• Ability to manage and motivate a team

• Reliable, punctual and professional

• A positive, energetic personality with a genuine love for hospitality
