About the role
Link Labor Hire is seeking an experienced and reliable Warehouse Operator / Storeperson with a current LO licence to support a busy automotive parts distribution operation in Lidcombe.
Monday to Friday: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Location: Lidcombe, NSW
About the Role:
This is primarily a hands-on warehouse role, with LO operation forming part of the position as required. The
successful candidate will assist with order picking, RF scanning, receiving and dispatch, stock movement and
general warehouse duties, while also operating an LO order picker when required.
The role suits someone who is comfortable working across different warehouse functions rather than solely
operating material handling equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Pick and prepare automotive parts and accessories accurately against customer and internal orders.
Use RF scanners and warehouse systems to locate, pick and process stock.
Operate an LO order picker safely when required.
Pick stock from various warehouse locations and storage levels.
Receive incoming stock and assist with checking goods against documentation.
Put away and replenish stock within designated warehouse locations.
Assist with packing, labelling and preparation of orders for dispatch.
Move and organise stock throughout the warehouse.
Maintain accuracy when handling a large and varied range of automotive parts.
Conduct basic equipment and pre-start safety checks as required.
Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
Follow site procedures, WHS requirements and reasonable instructions from supervisors.
Assist with other general warehouse duties as required.
About You:
Current Australian LO (Order Picking Forklift) licence.
Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution centre or similar environment.
Previous LO operating experience.
Experience with RF scanning and order picking.
Good attention to detail and a strong focus on order accuracy.
Confidence working with a large number of SKUs and different product types.
Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
Reliable and punctual approach to work.
Strong commitment to workplace safety.
Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a warehouse team.
Physical capability to perform general warehouse and manual handling duties.
Automotive parts, spare parts, distribution or high-volume warehouse experience is advantageous but notessential.
Role Expectations:
This is not a full-time LO operating position. While a valid LO licence and operating experience are required, asignificant part of the day will involve general warehouse operations, order picking, RF scanning, stock handlingand dispatch-related duties.
The ideal candidate will be flexible, safety-conscious and willing to contribute wherever required across the warehouse operations.
