Admissions Support Officer

The Admissions Support Officer will support a variety of administrative duties across the Admissions and Clinical operations teams to ensure efficiency, responsiveness and positive client outcomes. This role will assist with duties to ensure the smooth and efficient processing of client admissions, accurate record-keeping, and timely communication with internal teams and external stakeholders. 

In addition, the Admissions Support Officer will support the clinical team with administrative duties related to AT-HM (Assistive Technology and Home Modifications-SaH) claims and reconciliations, and client calls.

Job Requirements

• Proven experience in administrative roles
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent customer service skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Previous experience working in aged care is highly desirable

Key responsibilities

• Assist with processing new client referrals and admissions documentation.
• Ensure all required forms and documents are completed and filed accurately.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to privacy regulations.
• Enter client information into the Home Care clinical documentation system promptly and accurately.
• Update and maintain electronic and paper records in line with organisational policies.
• Support with AT-HM administrative activities-creating invoices and uploading AT-HM prescriptions and quotes
