Graduate Accountant

Are you looking for a great opportunity to start your career in a long-standing accounting firm located in Deakin?  Leger Rutledge & Walker Pty Ltd are currently looking for a full-time graduate accountant to join our friendly and supportive team.

The successful applicant will report to and work closely with both senior accountants and business partners.

Key responsibilities (including but not limited to):

• Assistance with the preparation of basic Financial Reports, Tax Returns and Business Activity Statements for our business client base, including use of various accounting software packages;

• Preparation of Individual Income Tax Returns;

• Bookkeeping, Annual Taxable Payment Reports, Single Touch Payroll and other schedules and worksheets;

• Working with and supporting senior accountants and partners.

About you:

If you are looking to pursue a career in accounting, then this could be the perfect opportunity for you.  The successful applicant would ideally have the following:

• A tertiary qualification in accounting;

• Willing to start, or already enrolled in CA/CPA Program;

• Outstanding attitude towards learning and are self-motivated;

• Great attention to detail;

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
