Junior Sales Specialist

Our Parts team plays an important role in supporting our customers and operations across the country. We’re looking for someone who knows how to connect with customers, identify opportunities and turn enquiries into long-term relationships.

The role:
We have an exciting full-time opportunity for a Sales Consultant to join our team, with the flexibility to be based from either our Springvale or Truganina office. 
  

   
What you’ll be doing:

• Business development activities, including proactively identifying and contacting prospective customers to generate new sales opportunities.
• Managing the full sales process – from understanding customer needs and recommending suitable products through to preparing proposals, following up and successfully closing sales.
• Managing customer relationships by maintaining regular contact with new, existing and previous customers.
• Responding to customer enquiries across phone, online and counter channels in a timely and professional manner.
• Coordinating customer orders and deliveries with our national warehouse teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Providing ongoing customer support and working closely with our Parts, Service and external Sales teams.
• Maintaining accurate customer information and sales activity within our CRM system.

Here’s what it takes:

• A genuine interest in building a career in sales, account management or business development
• Previous experience in retail, customer service, sales or account management
• A strong customer service mindset and the confidence to build relationships over the phone
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to understand customer needs and recommend suitable solutions
• An interest or understanding of mechanical products or equipment would be highly regarded
