Centre Manager: The Rockhampton Grammar School Early Learning Centre (QLD)

The Centre Manager reports to the Executive Director of Early Learning for the daily operational management of the Early Learning Centre. The Centre Manager provides visionary and relational leadership across all aspects of early childhood education and care in a collaborative, child-centred environment. The role leads regulatory compliance, staff performance, curriculum quality, financial management and family engagement, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement aligned to the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards and the School’s commitment to excellence in character and care.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• Commitment to supporting the values, vision and child safeguarding culture of the Early Learning Centre while fostering an inclusive, respectful and nurturing environment for children, families and staff.
• Demonstrated expertise in the operational leadership and management of an Early Learning Centre.
• Ability to lead high-quality early childhood education and care programs through a contemporary understanding of play-based learning practices.
• Experience in leading continuous improvement, innovation and compliance within an early learning environment.
• Capacity to inspire, mentor and develop educators through collaborative leadership, professional learning, reflective practice and development initiatives.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage positively with children, families, staff and the broader community.

This role is offered as a full-time ongoing position with a negotiated commencement date and generous salary, conditions and leadership support. Applicants must have a right to work in Australia and hold a current Working with Children Check and ACECQA-approved qualifications.
