Yard / Labour / Scrap Metal Hand

The successful candidate will need to be able to complete the following tasks confidently.

• Heavy Manual Handling – Unloading Cars / Utes / trailers of scrap metal items for recycling.

• Candidates must be able to lift 20-30kg regularly as part of daily duties.

• Sort and identify different metals, or a willingness to learn how to identify.

• Unloading Cars of Bottles and Cans.

• Sorting & separation of Aluminium cans, Plastic & Glass bottles etc

• Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.

• Maintaining yard Housekeeping & cleanliness.

• Ability to work outdoors in all conditions – Rain, Hail or Shine.

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• Strong communication & customer service Skills are a must.

• Overall, willingness to learn and grow within our business.

Expected work hours are between the hours Monday to Friday 8.30 - 4.30. Sometime weekend work may be required.

Industry experience not essential but will be looked at favourably.

Forklift Licence will also be looked at favourably.
