About the RoleWe are looking for a talented Interior Designer to join our growing team and contribute to the design and delivery of commercial interior projects across retail, hospitality, workplace and other premium environments.
This is an opportunity for a designer who wants to be involved in more than producing drawings.Working within an integrated design, manufacturing and project delivery business, you will have the opportunity to see your ideas progress from concept and material selection through documentation, manufacturing, construction and the finished space.
You will work closely with our estimating, project management and manufacturing teams to develop creative solutions that are both visually considered and practical to deliver. As APPA’s design capability grows, you will also have opportunities to contribute to concept-led initiatives and gain exposure to our local and international procurement and manufacturing network.

About YouYou are a creative and technically capable Interior Designer who enjoys seeing ideas become real spaces. You care about the details, but you also understand that successful design needs to work commercially and practically.

Career Growth OpportunityAPPA is expanding its integrated design capability, creating an opportunity for the right designer to grow with the business rather than step into a narrowly defined production role.Interior design will remain at the core of the position. As you build knowledge of the business and demonstrate your capability, there will be opportunities to take greater ownership of projects, concepts, client presentations and design outcomes.
Over time, strong performance and business growth may create a pathway toward Senior Interior Designer and future design leadership opportunities as APPA’s internal design team develops. The aim is to give you broader exposure to the complete project and product lifecycle while allowing your responsibilities to grow naturally with your experience, interests and the needs of the design team.
Why Join Us?One of the biggest advantages of designing within APPA is the ability to remain connected to what happens after the drawings are finished. You will have the opportunity to collaborate directly with the people responsible for turning the design into reality, and see the finished result.
You will also be joining at a stage where APPA’s design capability is growing, giving you the opportunity to contribute ideas, explore new products and materials, and help shape how the design function develops over time.
If you are looking for an Interior Design role where you can combine creativity with technical capability and become more involved in the complete project journey, we would love to hear from you.
