As our Operations Capability Lead, you'll play a critical role in shaping the future of our Inspection & Reconditioning Centre (IRC). You'll design the learning frameworks, career pathways and leadership programs that help our operational teams build new skills, grow their careers and deliver exceptional results. From onboarding new starters to developing future leaders, you'll create the capability systems that keep our teams performing at their best while supporting Carma's continued growth.

What you'll be doing:

Own pre sale compliance from start to finish, making sure every vehicle meets internal policy and regulatory requirementsRun detailed compliance checks including recalls, manufacturer contact, service history reviews and ASIC checksWork closely with Buyers to keep everything moving on time and nothing falling behindKeep vehicle keys, logbooks and documents secure, organised and audit ready at all timesAct as the central coordination point for the Buying team, keeping communication flowing and everyone on the same pageEnter and verify vehicle data using Redbook and Glass’s with strong attention to detail and zero guessworkSupport the wider team with customer service and phone based coordination when neededWork closely with Delivery, CX, Registrations and Workshop teams to make sure handover processes run smoothlyJump in to support sourcing activities when required, including picking up the phone and chasing key details

About you:

Experience in Learning & Development, Operational Capability, Organisational Development or Workforce CapabilityProven experience designing competency frameworks, structured learning pathways and capability programsExperience supporting operational teams within manufacturing, logistics, automotive, warehousing or similar frontline environmentsStrong understanding of workforce capability, succession planning and internal talent developmentConfident coaching leaders and influencing stakeholders across multiple levels of an organisationExcellent project management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneouslyStrong analytical skills with experience interpreting workforce data and measuring learning outcomesExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage both operational and corporate stakeholdersHighly organised with exceptional attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindsetComfortable working with Microsoft Office and learning or workforce management systemsQualifications in Learning & Development, Human Resources, Organisational Development or a related discipline are highly regarded
