About the role
As a Boilermaker/Fabricator, you'll fabricate and assemble trailer components from technical drawings, working alongside experienced tradespeople in a modern facility.
Your day-to-day duties will include but not be limited to:
fabricating and assembling aluminium and steel trailer components
MIG welding to a high standard of precision
reading and interpreting technical drawings
operating cutting and machining tools for aluminium fabrication
maintaining a focus on quality and safety throughout
working closely with experienced tradespeople to ensure consistency.
What we're looking for
Full Australian working rights essential
Qualified Boilermaker (Cert III in Engineering – Fabrication) or min. 2 years fabrication experience essential
Valid driver's licence and reliable transport essential
Strong ability to read and interpret detailed technical drawings
Sound mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
Reliable, proactive team player with strong communication skills
Manufacturing or trailer-building experience highly regarded
Current High Risk Work Licence (LF – forklift) advantageous
