About the Role
We’re currently recruiting a Part-Time OOSH Assistant Educator for our Queanbeyan South OOSH who thrives in an inclusive and collaborative environment.
In this role, you will:
•        Create engaging, play-based learning experiences for primary school-aged children
•        Foster a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment
•        Support children’s development through meaningful interactions and activities
•        Work as part of a supportive and passionate team

• Knowledge of the Education and Care Services National Law, National Regulations, National Quality Framework (NQF), and My Time, Our Place (desirable).

What We're Looking For

• Availability to work split shifts:
• 7:00am – 9:00am
• 2:30pm – 6:00pm

Essential Requirements

• Basic Food Safety Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
• Current First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain.
• Current Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification, or willingness to obtain.
• Geccko Foundations of Child Safety Training course 1 & 2 and The Advanced child safety Training courses 3 & 4, or willingness to obtain prior to commencement.
• ACT Government Keeping Children and Young People Safe training, or willingness to obtain prior to commencement.
• Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) clearance (NSW), or willingness to obtain prior to commencement.
