Role Overview:

In this new role as the General Manager, you will lead the overall operations of a student accommodation property, ensuring an exceptional resident experience while achieving occupancy, financial, and operational targets. You will oversee student wellbeing initiatives, property performance, stakeholder relationships, team leadership, compliance, and building operations. This role requires a hands-on leader who can drive business results, foster a strong community culture, and maintain high standards of service, safety, and property presentation.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead all aspects of property operations, ensuring exceptional resident experiences and a strong focus on student wellbeing.
• Drive occupancy, revenue, and financial performance in line with budgets, KPIs, and business objectives.
• Build, coach, and develop a high-performing team while fostering a positive and inclusive culture.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with residents, universities, investors, and other key stakeholders.
• Oversee property maintenance, compliance, safety, and operational excellence to ensure a secure and well-presented living environment.
  
  About You:To be successful in this role, ideally you will have:
   
• Proven leadership experience in property management, student accommodation, hospitality, or a related industry.
• Strong commercial and financial management skills.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.
• Passion for customer service and creating positive resident experiences.
• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.

Mandatory Requirements:

• National Police Check
• Working with Children Check
• Valid Working Rights
• [VIC] Hold or have the ability to acquire a valid and current Agent’s Representative Certificate lodged with Consumer Affairs Victoria.
