B1.3 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical)
Locations: Coffs Harbour, NSW & Redcliffe, QLD | Permanent Full-Time | 4-Day Work Week
About the RoleBell Textron Australia is seeking experienced B1.3 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (LAMEs) to join our helicopter maintenance teams in Coffs Harbour (NSW) and Redcliffe (QLD). This is a hands-on role working across a diverse fleet of rotary-wing aircraft in a compliant and safety-focused environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform aircraft maintenance in accordance with CASA regulations, company procedures, and OEM manuals
Ensure maintenance is completed to a high standard within required timeframes
Supervise and support AMEs, including documentation review
Support quality, safety, and compliance initiatives
Maintain strong customer relationships
Promote safe work practices
Travel as required
CASA B1.3 Licence (or B1/C equivalent)
Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical) – MEA40715 or equivalent
Minimum 3 years helicopter maintenance experience
Experience on Bell, Airbus, or Leonardo helicopters
Strong CASA regulatory knowledge
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and within a team
Computer literacy in maintenance systems
Ability to meet DAMP requirements
National Police Check
Full Australian working rights
Type ratings: Bell 412, Bell 212, Bell 429, AW139, AS355, EC135/H145
Experience with PT6 and T53 engines
