Housekeeper – Casual Temporary role

Experienced housekeeper required to join a small, friendly housekeeping team. 

Excellent conditions working for a lovely family of four (no young children or nanny duties). 

• Private residence.

• Beaumaris location.

• Casual temporary role for 1-2 months - 20-25 hours per week, Monday to Friday (4-5 hours per day). 

• ASAP start.

ONLY EXPERIENCED HOUSEKEEPERS TO APPLY & MUST HAVE OWN CAR.

Housekeeper position on a casual basis for 1-2 months for a private family residence located in Beaumaris from Monday-Friday 10am start
It would be working alongside and taking directions from 2 other Housekeepers.

Duties for the housekeeping team include the following:

• Housekeeping for a busy household in Beaumaris consisting of two adults, two teenage children and two small-medium sized friendly dogs (no nanny work).

• Working alone or with another Housekeeping team member – vacuuming, dusting, mopping and cleaning bathrooms.

• Thorough clean of kitchen. All dishes washed and put away.

• Maintaining a tidy fridge and pantry, cleaning stovetop, sinks, bench tops, coffee machines and small appliances.

• Garbage recycling and disposal.

• Laundry duties including sorting, washing, drying, folding and ironing.

• Fortnightly cleaning of a studio cottage on the grounds.

All cleaning products and high end equipment are supplied.

Required skills and qualities:

• Housekeeping experience of at least 2 years, preferably previous private executive residence experience but not essential.

• Two references from similar roles.

• Absolute confidentiality and discretion.

• Good communication skills, friendly with a positive can-do professional attitude.

• Reliable, punctual and professional work ethic and presentation.

• Ability to work resourcefully and independently.

• High standards in hygiene and attention to detail in all household tasks.

• A full Driver’s license and own car.

• Non-smoker & pet friendly.

• Current national police check or willingness to get one.
