Opportunity

We are seeking applications from qualified Educators (Diploma qualification preferred), committed to providing an exceptional educational experience that fosters a love of learning in children aged 3 to 5 years old.  

We are seeking to appoint the equivalent of a full-time position commencing as soon as possible. As such we encourage applicants looking for full or part-time hours to apply.

Hours of work are negotiable however Educators need to be willing to work 6:30am - 2:30pm and/or 10am - 6pm shifts across various days.  

Role and Responsibilities

As an Early Childhood Educator at King's ELC, you will play a pivotal role in creating a dynamic and engaging learning environment. Your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with fellow educators to design and implement a child-centred curriculum that aligns with our faith-based values.

• Nurturing and establishing positive relationships with children in your care, inspiring them to learn and grow both academically and spiritually.

• Supporting students to become independent learners by providing tailored learning experiences that cater to their needs and interests.

• Embracing the Reggio Emilia approach to education to encourage exploration, creativity, and critical thinking in our young learners.

• Contributing to the continuous improvement of our learning environment by sharing innovative ideas and strategies.

Requirements:

• A personal commitment to King's Vision, Mission and Values that underpin the delivery of a Christian-based education to students in the School Community.

• Diploma (preferred) or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or approved ACECQA qualification).

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

• Creativity, adaptability, and a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
