About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and organised Storeperson to join our site in Morningside, Queensland.
This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of our warehouse operations.
As a Storeperson, you will be responsible for the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring that our inventory management systems remain accurate and our warehouse operates smoothly.
This role is essential to our supply chain operations and directly impacts our ability to serve our customers effectively.
What you'll be doing
Receiving and unloading goods from delivery vehicles, checking items against delivery documentation for accuracy and completeness
Storing items in their designated locations within the warehouse, maintaining accurate records of stock placement
Conducting regular stock counts and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies
Picking and packing orders according to customer requirements and dispatch schedules
Operating warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts, pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as required
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment in compliance with health and safety standards
Processing stock movements and updating inventory management systems with receipt and dispatch information
Identifying and reporting damaged or defective goods, and assisting with returns procedures
Assisting in the organisation and arrangement of stock displays to optimise warehouse space
Following all company procedures, safety protocols and warehouse operational guidelines
What we're looking for
Previous experience working in a warehouse, storage or distribution environment
Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer literacy
Ability to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks, or willingness to obtain relevant certifications
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and stock management
Physical capability to lift, carry and move items regularly throughout the working day
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to health and safety standards and procedures
Reliable, punctual and professional approach to work
Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions clearly
