We're looking for an experienced Workshop Supervisor to join our team. In this hands-on role, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations of the Workshop, supervise mechanics and an apprentice mechanic, and ensure our diverse fleet of plant and equipment is serviced, maintained and monitored to a high standard.

About the role

You will be responsible for:

• Supervising and supporting the Workshop team, including managing performance and quality of work.
• Carrying out mechanical servicing, repairs and maintenance on a range of heavy and light plant and equipment.
• Scheduling, monitoring and reporting on the maintenance and performance of the Shire's fleet.
• Ensuring Workshop activities are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
• Providing practical leadership and helping your team develop and succeed.
• Ensuring the Shire's essential plant and equipment is maintained to provide reliable support for community projects and services.

Job Title: Workshop Supervisor

Location: Margaret River, WA

Employment Type: Continuing, Full-Time

Salary: $110,000 per annum 

Key selection criteria

• Extensive previous experience in supervising and undertaking workshop services for a wide range of plant and equipment (heavy and light).
• Established leadership, people management and time management skills.
• Completion of a recognised Mechanical Trade Certificate.
• Demonstrated ability to make recommendations on complex plant operational and maintenance issues.
