About the role

Our team is made up of highly skilled professionals who bring extensive expertise across all aspects of civil construction, site preparation, earthworks, and complex rail signalling systems.
We are looking for Cert IV qualified Electrical Technicians with solid rail experience to join our signalling and communications team. The successful candidates will carry out installation, testing, fault finding and commissioning support on rail signalling and communications systems across our WA projects. Casual agreement, FIFO and DIDO.
Rail experience is essential for this position.
· Certificate IV in Electrical - Rail Signalling, Instrumentation, Telecommunications or a related discipline
· Rail signalling experience including points machines, level crossings, track circuits and axle counters
· Communications experience including fibre, radio, SCADA and data networks
· Arc Infrastructure and BHP inductions and accreditations
· Rail Industry Worker (RIW) card with competencies in date
· Cable hauling, terminations, testing and pre-commissioning experience
· Experience reading and marking up signalling design and circuit drawings
· HR Drivers Licence
· Previous experience in rail environments, this is essential
· WA A Grade Electrical Licence, or a trade background with the Cert IV behind it
· Methodical fault finding and testing, with the paperwork done properly
· Accurate completion of test records, ITPs and as-built mark-ups
· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
· A strong focus on safety and quality work standards
· Versatility, a positive attitude, and willingness to get the job done
· Construction Induction Card (White Card) and current WA C class licence
· Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol screening
· Australian work rights required for this position
· Rate $100 - $110 per hour (Negotiable)
· FIFO and DIDO work with flights, accommodation and meals covered on FIFO swings
