Tax & Treasury Analyst - Country Road Group

As our Tax & Treasury Analyst, you'll play a key role in supporting the Tax & Treasury Manager to deliver accurate tax compliance, efficient treasury operations, and strong financial risk management across the business.Working in a dynamic retail environment, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day execution of treasury activities, helping to meet statutory tax obligations across multiple jurisdictions, and providing valuable insights into cash flow and financial risk. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial health of a growing organisation while developing your expertise across both tax and treasury functions.How You Will ContributeSupport tax compliance and reporting activities, including direct and indirect tax obligations, tax disclosures, transfer pricing, and regulatory lodgements across multiple jurisdictions.Manage day-to-day treasury operations, including cash positioning, bank reconciliations, cash flow forecasting, and treasury reporting.Monitor foreign exchange exposures and assist with hedging activities, documentation, and risk analysis.Support financial risk management through liquidity monitoring, interest rate exposure analysis, policy compliance, and scenario modelling.Partner with finance, supply chain, and commercial teams to provide insights into working capital, inventory, and cash flow performance.Maintain strong governance and control frameworks, including treasury policies, audit support, compliance processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.Promote a safe and compliant workplace by adhering to WHS policies, identifying risks, and supporting a culture of health, safety, and wellbeing.
Capabilities We ValueCA/CPA Qualified2-5 years experience in Tax, Treasury or Financial AccountingProficient in MS Excel, Financial Modelling Retail, FMCG or Consumer industry experience Previous experience working in a multi-currency environmentUnderstanding of AASB/IFRS tax effect accountingAttention to detail and analytical capability with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
