We currently have vacancies totalling 3.4 FTE across two Clerical Supervisor positions. These are Fixed Term appointments for 6 months, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency. While full-time hours are readily available, part-time hours may also be considered.
Perth Children's Hospital (PCH) is seeking experienced and motivated leaders to join our Health Information and Administrative Services (HIAS) team as Clerical Supervisors within the Emergency Department.
We are recruiting to two exciting supervisory opportunities, each playing an integral role in supporting one of Western Australia's busiest paediatric Emergency Departments. Whether you enjoy the fast pace of overnight operations or prefer a weekday leadership role, this recruitment offers the opportunity to contribute to exceptional patient care while leading a dedicated clerical team.

Available Positions
We are currently recruiting for the following positions:
Position 1 – Clerical Supervisor – Emergency Department (Night Shift) #00023608
Working Hours
This role supports the overnight operation of the Emergency Department, ensuring clerical services continue to operate efficiently while providing leadership and operational support throughout the night.
We currently have 1.4 FTE available to fill for this role.
Position 2 – Clerical Supervisor – Emergency Department & Enquiries #00023605
Working Hours
This role provides leadership across the Emergency Department and Enquiries service, supporting daytime operations and ensuring high-quality administrative services are delivered during weekday business hours.
We currently have 2.0 FTE available to fill for this role.

About the Role
As a Clerical Supervisor, you'll lead and coordinate the day-to-day clerical operations that keep one of Western Australia's busiest paediatric Emergency Departments running efficiently.
Working closely with medical, nursing and multidisciplinary teams, you'll supervise and support a dedicated team of clerical staff, coordinate resources, provide operational guidance and ensure high-quality administrative services that support patient flow and enhance the experience of children and their families.
Depending on the position appointed to, you'll either lead overnight Emergency Department operations or supervise the Emergency Department and Enquiries service during weekday business hours. Regardless of roster, both roles play a critical part in supporting safe, timely and compassionate patient care.

process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy,
applicants found suitable for this position may be considered for
other ‘similar’ vacancies within CAHS and/or the wider WA public

suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both of
these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from
when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment
