As a growing family owned and operated business based in SE Qld, we recently opened our fourth Bask centre (located in Ellen Grove), with plans for a slow but steady expansion of our family as we welcome additional locations in the near future.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Our architecturally designed 120-place centre in Ellen Grove (located near Forest Lake State School) caters for children aged six weeks to six years, where our core values of Bravery, Accountability, Sparking Curiosity, and Kindness underpin everything we do.

We're seeking an experienced Quality & Compliance Leader (Assistant Centre Manager) to give quality and compliance a dedicated home inside our centre. You'll look after the systems that keep children safe and the service strong: risk management, internal audits, policy implementation, child and staff records, and Assessment and Rating readiness. You'll turn compliance from a checklist into daily habit, coaching educators to understand their obligations and meet them with confidence rather than fear.

Essential Criteria:

• Sound knowledge of the Education and Care Services National Law, National Regulations, and National Quality Standard

• Demonstrated experience in early childhood leadership, quality assurance, or compliance

• Strong coaching and mentoring skills, with the ability to build educator confidence around regulatory obligations

• Proven ability to manage internal audits, risk assessments, and Assessment and Rating readiness

• Excellence in compliance documentation and record keeping

• Strong communication skills with families, educators, and regulatory authorities

Desirable Criteria:

• Experience preparing centres for Assessment and Rating

• Familiarity with OWNA or similar early childhood management software

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Approved Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care

• Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check) valid in Queensland

• First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates

• Child Protection training

• Proven quality assurance or compliance leadership experience
