About the role

We are looking for a passionate Apprentice Chef to be key members of our kitchen team. The successful candidate wants to develop their culinary skills in order to maintain and enhance our customers' satisfaction. In this role you will get trained equally in pastry and savory techniques. You will play an integral role within the kitchen team, and will be a hands on, experienced, motivated individual, who has passion for food, people and their role in the industry. As an Apprentice Chef you are responsible supporting the Head and Sous Chef in the kitchen delivering consistently high-quality food.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Head and Sous Chef in the kitchen delivering consistently high-quality food

• Ensure the highest standards and consistent quality in the daily preparation

• Keep up to date with the new products, recipes and preparation techniques

• Work as part of the team to ensure services are of a high standard

• Great organisational skills with an acute attention to detail

• Must have the Rights to Work in Australia Full-Time

• Punctual, organised, and trustworthy

• Professional appearance

• Ability to be self-motivated

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to resolve conflict in a constructive manner

• Willingness to take initiative and make decisions
