About Pedare
Educating approximately 1,200 students from Reception to Year 12, Pedare is an independent, co-educational Anglican and Uniting Church day school founded in 1986, situated at Golden Grove in the north-east of Adelaide.

The Opportunity
We're looking for two passionate Diverse Learning Assistants to join our Junior School (Years R-5) team. The successful candidates will provide direct, specialist support to students with additional learning needs, working closely with classroom teachers to help students overcome learning barriers and extend their capabilities. Reporting to the Diverse Learning Coordinator R-5, these are 12-month contract (32.75 and 18.5 hours per week) positions, commencing in January 2027.
The Role
Experience in delivering programs such as: PreLit, MiniLit or Macqlit is preferredConsistently give feedback to students, encourage, and involve students in class to enable them to fulfil their potentialAssist the Diverse Learning Coordinator with administrative needs associated with programs or students, including standardised testing Liaise with appropriate colleagues regarding assessment structure and formatMaintain an interest in the welfare of students and promote the well-being of studentsApply the College’s rules and expectations for students as a joint responsibility of all staffConsult with appropriate colleagues regarding student behavioural problems
What We Need
A current South Australian Working With Children Check (WWCC)A current Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect (RRHAN) CertificateA current First Aid and CPR Certificate (preferred)
All certificates and qualification(s) must be provided to the College prior to commencement of employment; and the College requires the applicant to disclose any information relevant to their eligibility to engage in activities involving children and young people.
