Brisbane Smiles, a leading family-owned dental practice in Toowong, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Oral Health Therapist / Dental Hygienist to join our exceptional team. With an assigned Dental Assistant you will work alongside our experienced team of Dentists, Oral Health Therapists, and Hygienists to deliver outstanding preventive and restorative care for children in a supportive, collaborative environment.

About Brisbane SmilesFor more than 78 years, Brisbane Smiles has been providing exceptional dental care to the local community. Your Role as an Oral Health TherapistAs a valued member of our clinical team, you will focus on delivering high-quality oral health care for children, including:
Comprehensive oral health assessments for children
Preventive dentistry, including cleans, fluoride applications and fissure sealants
Oral health education and hygiene instruction for children and parents
Radiographs and diagnostic imaging
Restorative treatment for children within your scope of practice
Management and prevention of early childhood dental disease
Digital scanning and imaging using leading technologies including Trios Scanners, CBCT and Digital OPG
Utilising innovative equipment including Digital Intraoral Radiography, Nikon Cameras, Intraoral Cameras, and NSK Varios Combi Pro/EMS Airflow
Collaborating closely with our Dentists to provide seamless patient care
This role is available 3–4 days per week, Monday to Friday.
Typical rostered hours are:
7:30am – 6:00pm Monday to Thursday
7:30am – 6:00pm Friday
Patients scheduled from 8:00am – 5:30pm
No weekends. No late nights.

Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Current AHPRA registration as an Oral Health Therapist
Children's Scope of Practice
Current vaccination records suitable for healthcare employment
CBCT and OPG experience (advantageous but not essential)
