Truss Detailer

About the role

Prepares detailing of Timber Roof, Floor, and Wall Trusses by Analysing Architectural and Engineering drawings from the Customer for residential and commercial projects.

Key responsibilities

• Detail Wall Frames, Floor/Roof Trusses, adhering to industry codes

• Receive client orders and proceed to production

• Ensure detailing and reports are accurate and lodged in full, on time

• Make decisions based on previous experience and technical knowledge and accept responsibility for those decisions

• Commit to upskilling

• Commit to customer service

• Show a consistent high level of leadership and delegate workload to others as part of their professional development

• Train new team members as required and ensure they are competent to work

About you

• Minimum Year 12

• 5 years relevant truss and wall frame experience

• Experience with Pryda & Multinail Software

• Familiar with and have industry-specific knowledge and competency in the computer programmes required for detailing and office

• Current Driver's Licence (Site Measurements may be required)

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team

• Effective time management of self and team
