About the role
Glen Education is seeking enthusiastic and confident Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care qualified educators to join kindergarten teams across multiple locations. Full time, part time and casual roles are available across services in the Local Government Areas of Boroondara, Glen Eira, Kingston, Bayside, Monash, and Stonnington. Successful permanent and part time employees will work in one location. Casual roles will work across service areas.
Key responsibilities
Deliver high quality education reflective of the approved National Quality Framework, Education and Care Services National Regulations 2011 and Education and Care Services National Law Act 2010
Facilitate a positive work culture and be solution focused in thinking and practice
Positively and confidently lead teams
Engage with a diverse range of people
About you
Early Childhood Education certificate, diploma, degree or equivalent, as approved by the Australian Children's Education & Care Quality Authority (ACECQA)
Valid and current Working with Children Clearance
Current (not older than 6 months) National Police Check
Valid and current First Aid (Education and Care Setting), CPR and Child Protection certificates
Demonstrated knowledge of current best practice reflective of the approved National Quality Framework, Education and Care Services National Regulations 2011 and Education and Care Services National Law Act 2010
Working knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Standards
Demonstrated knowledge and ability to deliver high quality education
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral)
Demonstrated ability to facilitate a positive work culture and be solution focused in thinking and practice
