Our Business
Public Transport Services help keep Brisbane residents and visitors moving across our city. Our group operates and maintains one of the largest public transport fleets in Australia. Council’s 8 bus depots, 8 maintenance garages and 1 maintenance workshop spread across the city, ensure efficient operation of Council’s fleet.
The Toowong Workshop provides specialised fleet engineering support, manufacturing, maintenance, refurbishment and project delivery services that enable PTS to deliver safe, reliable, available and cost-effective public transport services. Supporting the entire fleet lifecycle—from new fleet introduction and major modifications through to component overhaul, technical support and end-of-life asset disposal.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Maintenance Implementation Officer to support and guide the Body Repair section at our Toowong Workshops, providing operational oversight and reporting to the Workshop Manager.
The successful candidate will ensure compliance with maintenance standards, systems, processes, and work instructions to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality outcomes within a continuous improvement environment.
Working closely with the Workshop Manager, this role will provide leadership and support to maintenance personnel, ensuring adherence to established procedures, effective risk management, and a strong commitment to a Zero Harm culture. Strong technical expertise, leadership capability, and people management skills are essential.
