Electronic Security Technician

We specialise in the installation, service, and maintenance of CCTV, access control, intrusion alarms, intercoms, and integrated security systems for commercial, industrial, and government clients.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and qualified Security Technician to join our professional team.

As a Security Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of a wide range of electronic security systems. You will work independently and as part of a team, delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service.

• Install, service, and commission CCTV, access control, alarm, and intercom systems

• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults efficiently

• Conduct preventative maintenance and system upgrades

• Complete service reports and documentation accurately

• Liaise professionally with clients, contractors, and project managers

• Ensure all work complies with industry standards and company procedures

• Participate in on-call roster when required

• Current Victorian Security Equipment Installer Licence

• Relevant technical qualifications or industry experience

• Proven experience installing and servicing electronic security systems

• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

• Current Australian Driver's Licence

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively

• Full working rights in Australia

• Experience with Inner Range, Hikvision, Milestone, Avigilon, Integriti, Tecom, or similar platforms

• Network and IP-based security system experience

• Cabling licence and endorsements

• EWP, Working at Heights, or White Card certifications
