Deep Clean Operator – Food Manufacturing Night Shift

Moondarra Cheese is a proud Australian cheese manufacturer based in Dandenong South, supplying major supermarket retailers and export markets. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a dedicated Deep Clean Operator to join our Night Shift team.

About the Role

This is a hands-on hygiene role within a food manufacturing environment You'll be responsible for ensuring our production and warehousing areas are cleaned and disinfected to a very high standard, working in cool, hot, and wet conditions (8–15 degrees) typical of a food processing facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake hygiene tasks including cleaning of equipment within production and warehousing areas to required hygiene standards

• Assemble, disassemble, and clean production machinery and equipment

• Review equipment condition and escalate any damage or risks to the appropriate personnel

• Ensure chemicals are used and stored correctly

• Complete all hygiene paperwork accurately and submit to the correct personnel

• Follow work instructions and raise any issues with the Night Shift Supervisor

• Promote a strong health, safety, and environmental culture within the department

What We're Looking For

• Experience in a food manufacturing or food processing environment is highly regarded, particularly with assembling/disassembling machinery for deep cleaning purposes

• Physically fit, with high energy, initiative, and eagerness to learn

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with good attention to detail

• Good planning and organisational skills

• Ability to work independently and reliably on night shift

• Comfortable working in a cold, wet, and physically demanding environment
