We're looking for an experienced, energetic Venue Manager to lead iPlay Belconnen.

This is more than an operations role. It's an opportunity to take ownership of a busy entertainment venue, build a high-performing team and play a key role in creating the culture and guest experience that defines iPlay.

THE ROLE

As Venue Manager, you'll be the heartbeat of the venue.

You'll lead from the front, set the standard and create an environment where guests have an incredible experience and team members are motivated to bring their best every shift.

Reporting to the Regional Manager, you'll have responsibility for the day-to-day performance of the venue, from people and operations through to guest experience, safety and commercial results.

You'll be visible on the floor, hands-on with your team and constantly looking for ways to make the venue better.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Lead the day-to-day operation of iPlay Belconnen and ensure the venue consistently delivers an exceptional guest experience

• Recruit, train, coach and develop a high-performing team

• Build a positive, accountable and energetic team culture

• Lead from the floor and set the standard for customer service, presentation and performance

• Manage rostering, labour, inventory, ordering and operational processes

• Drive venue sales, KPIs and profitability through strong commercial leadership

• Monitor performance and use reporting and data to identify opportunities for improvement

• Manage guest feedback and resolve issues quickly and professionally

• Ensure the venue is safe, clean, compliant and operating to iPlay standards

• Work closely with the Regional Manager and support teams to deliver business initiatives

• Identify opportunities to improve the guest experience, team performance and venue results

• Take ownership of the venue and its success

You bring confidence without ego, energy without chaos and structure without losing the fun.

To be successful, you'll have:

• Minimum 2 years' leadership or management experience in hospitality, entertainment, retail or a similar customer-focused environment

• A proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a team

• A hands-on leadership style and confidence leading from the floor

• Experience with rostering, labour management, budgets, reporting and inventory

• Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills

• A commercial mindset with a focus on achieving KPIs and business results

• The ability to stay calm, adaptable and solutions-focused in a fast-paced environment

• A genuine passion for creating exceptional customer experiences

• The flexibility to work across days, evenings, weekends and public holidays

Desirable:

• Experience in bowling, amusement, arcade or family entertainment

• RSA certification

• RMLV certification

• Food Safety Supervisor certification
